Data Scientist

Main tasks:

  • Use machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for real world business problems

  • Analyze and extract relevant information from operations data to help automate and optimize key processes

  • Design, develop and evaluate highly innovative models for predictive learning

  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation

  • Implement and deploy novel machine learning and statistical approaches in a highly scalable cloud environment

  • Design, develop and test CI and CD tooling for energy cloud platform

  • Design and develop system for metrics collection, monitoring and alerting

  • Write code to perform log analysis, detect anomalies and alert

If you also recognise yourself in the section below, we think that we could get along very well.

  • A university degree in computer science, machine learning, operational research, statistics or in a highly quantitative field

  • 2-4 years of industry experience in predictive modeling and analysis, predictive software development and deployment in a scalable (preferably cloud) environment

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Proven experience using Python and/or R

  • Experience using machine learning libraries and packages

  • Strong communication and data presentation skills

  • Preferably, hands-on DevOps experience with AWS, Docker, ECS, Chef, CI & CD processes and tools

  • Preferably, experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana and Logstash

  • Practice with product development and release methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Scrum
